What is the Keto Diet?
Essentially, it is a way of turning your energy source from carbohydrates, to fat. But there is much more to it, and it actually does take quite the strength. To start off, the keto diet requires around 75% fat, 10-20% protein, and around 5% carbs. Why do you need all that fat? Well, the key to the keto diet is that your heavy intake of fat and low intake of carbs kind of forces your body into an "energy transformation" which basically means that your body is converting your energy source from carbohydrates, to fat. Which then leads to you burning that fat and losing a lot more.

What are the Best food sources for the Keto Diet?
Now I'm not saying, "yay, lets go eat some McDonalds and stuff ourselves with flurries and McChicken's!" I'm telling you that you need to consume HEALTHY fats. From the background you can probably see some of my hints, huh, huh, you see em? Well, if you don't, let me explain. Avocados and tuna and nuts, etc., contain the fat called omega 3 fats or healthy unsaturated fats. These fats are a lot healthier because they don't clog arteries and actually prevent a lot of problems in the intestines. Also, they are a lot easier to use for energy.
